Sustainable Direction Ltd, a Gloucestershire-based specialist environmental and sustainability consultancy, has appointed Bruce Gordon as Commercial Director. Prior to joining Sustainable Direction, Mr Gordon held a number of senior positions most recently as Principal at Ramboll Environ.
Mr Gordon has more than 30 years’ environmental and engineering experience, specialising in complex projects throughout the UK and Europe serving firms across all segments of manufacturing and real estate. His role will be responsible for overall sales and practice led revenue generation and strategic growth initiatives.
Mr Gordon’s focus on strategic EHS advice, coordinating EHS work and managing clients’ requirements ensures the firm’s high quality delivery in new specialist areas. Bruce’s experience is backed up by technical expertise in compliance, environmental risk appraisals, waste optimisation and management, environmental assessments and monitoring, contamination assessment, site remediation, EHS training and environmental management systems.
In early 2007 Mr Gordon was appointed Managing Director of ENSR/AECOM where he successfully launched the UK and Ireland business and was subsequently appointed EMEA industry sector under the AECOM banner.
